Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) – Civil Services

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) – Hospitality Studies

Statutes and Ordinances Pertaining to Academics and Examinations

Swami Vivekanand Mahavidyalaya, Deolapar, strictly adheres to the statutes, ordinances, rules, and regulations framed by the affiliating university and the Government of Maharashtra from time to time. The academic and examination system of the college is governed by the following provisions:

1. Academic Regulations

  • The college follows the curriculum, syllabus, and academic structure prescribed by the affiliating university.

  • Admissions are granted as per university norms, government reservation policies, and eligibility criteria.

  • The institution follows the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS)/NEP pattern (as applicable).

  • Attendance requirements are implemented as per university rules. A minimum prescribed percentage of attendance is mandatory to appear for examinations.

  • Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) is conducted through assignments, unit tests, seminars, practical work, and project submissions as prescribed.

2. Examination Rules

  • University examinations are conducted as per the schedule and guidelines issued by the affiliating university.

  • Internal assessment marks are submitted to the university within the stipulated time.

  • Students must possess a valid Hall Ticket/Admit Card and Identity Card to appear for examinations.

  • The college ensures fair and transparent conduct of examinations under the supervision of appointed internal and external examiners.

  • Any use of unfair means during examinations will be dealt with strictly as per university ordinances.

3. Evaluation and Results

  • Evaluation and declaration of results are carried out by the affiliating university.

  • Revaluation, photocopy of answer scripts, and grievance redressal procedures are available as per university norms.

  • Students must apply within the prescribed time limit for rechecking or revaluation.

4. Discipline and Code of Conduct

  • Students are expected to maintain discipline during academic and examination activities.

  • Violation of rules may result in penalties as per university and institutional regulations.
